Bobby Brackins became famous earlier this year for his hit “143” featuring R&B singer Ray J.

Many people may not have believed that the unique voice of this 21-year-old Oakland native would have captured mainstream music, but it did take hold of music lovers when “143” peaked at NO. 76 on Billboard’s Hot 100 in late August.

As a teenager, Brackins was a member of a rap group GO-DAV.
