“If you want to get more comfortable talking about sex, sexuality, and pleasure, go to FemSexComm.  I can’t recommend it highly enough.”

FemSexComm: Season 5 kicks off this September in Oakland and San Francisco.  The Female Sexuality Workshop in the Community (FemSexComm) is a 15-week, peer-to-peer learning series examining a broad scope of issues through the lens of female sexuality.  Topics include intimacy, fantasy, sexual technique, safer sex, reproductive health, body image, gender identity, sexual identity, relationship models, communication, consent, privilege and allyship, community, and empowerment.

Curious?  Info sessions will be held this coming Monday, August 5th from 6-8pm at Tech Liminal (555 12th Street, Suite #110) in Oakland and on Tuesday, August 6th from 6-8pm at 518 Valencia: The Eric Quezada Center for Culture and Politics in San Francisco.  Applications are available online at Femsexcomm.org and will close on Sunday, August 11th.

“In a world that insists on repression of and obsession with the sexuality of women, this educational workshop is a sumptuous opportunity for unlocking personal and cultural assumptions about body and pleasure.”
