Since 1974, Creative Growth Art Center has provided studio space, instruction, materials, and widespread exposure to local artists with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities. Creative Growth artists develop professional-grade portfolios and have their work featured both nationally and internationally in galleries, museums, and private collections. The nonprofit currently supports over 150 artists who work in a diverse variety of mediums including drawing, painting, video production, ceramics, mosaics, wood, fiber arts, textiles, printmaking and photography.

This holiday season, you can support Creative Growth’s important work by purchasing a beautiful and unique gift from their online store. Gifts include art books, tote bags, wallets, greeting cards, T-shirts, drinking glasses, and tea towels.

You can also pay them a visit and see what they’re up to. The Creative Growth gallery is located at 355 24th Street and is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Be sure to swing by today, Friday December 6th, between 5:30pm and 9pm and check out their new exhibition and opening party — food, drinks, live music, tarot readings, and beautiful art.
