Oakland’s First Friday street festival has been cancelled due to a much-needed bout of rain, but don’t let the inclement weather keep you indoors. Even though the street festival won’t be going on, there are still plenty of amazing art happenings going on downtown, and you owe it to yourself to check them out!

    Hi,

I stumbled across this site looking for things to do in oakland for ethnicly inclined professionals and would like to know if there are any events during the weekend of March 13th-15th. Seeing as I will be visiting San Francisco that weekend, if there any ‘hot spots’ in Oakland that are a must-attend, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
