A coalition of local organizations concerned about preserving net neutrality held their own hearing, Bay Area Speaks, last Thursday night in SF. At issue is the Federal Communications Commission debate on whether to allow Internet providers to sell faster download speeds to big content providers. The FCC could issue its new rules any day.
