Come celebrate the accomplishments of Oakland Rising during The Young Progressives Party from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, June 16, at The Den, 19th Street and Telegraph Avenue.

In a short time, the nonprofit non-partisan organization that focuses on education, mobilization and local campaigns has identified 17,000 voters in Oakland and has a 98 percent identification rate, in which people have agreed to vote. These numbers are simply unheard of in many communities.

Be a part of the party where the highlighting of Oakland's political change will take place. The political legacy that the city has will continue to live on through organizations like Oakland Rising. This will be a great opportunity for young progressives to expand their networks, dance, taste good food, celebrate with like-minded people and have a good time.
