We're kicking off Monday with a mellow music mix to get us ready for a busy week and a jumping weekend. DJ Cali is one of the founders and chief beatmeisters behind The People, one of the best regular parties to come through The Town in the last few years.

The mix features tracks from a host of mellow taste makers including Jose James, J Rawls, Vijay Iyer, Goapele and Aybee.  While the monthly party works over the dance floor with heavy doses of deep house, soul and breakbeat, the 17 tracks on this mix live in the lounge and go down well with a Myers neat, a close friend snuggled up and a couple of sticks of Nag Champa waifting through the air. Or, you know, whatever gets you in the mood.
