In an effort to bring balance into the lives of San Francisco Bay Area women, Bona Fide Event Management will host its second bi-annual conference on April 2 at Cathedral of Christ the Light Event Center near downtown Oakland, Calif.

“Woman-to-Woman Oakland Brunch and Beyond” promises to be an amazing gathering for women seeking revival, rejuvenation and refreshment in their lives through demonstration, guidance and assistance from seasoned professionals in their field.

With a theme of “Whole Women Win,” the all-day conference – which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – will provide six workshops: Discovering Your Purpose; Fashion/Beauty/Health Tips and Demonstrations; Career Choices and How to Achieve Them; Financial Fitness; Daily Life Balance; and Inspiration and Empowerment.

“Woman-to-Woman was born out of my desire to help woman, some older and some younger, get to the core of who they are as women,” explained organizer Karla Woods-Stephens, who held the first Women-to-Women in the Tri-Cities Area of northeast Tennessee last fall. “I lost myself in who I was after I got married and had a family. My spiritual journey to recapture the women I was produced Woman-to-Woman.

The Memphis, Tenn., native said that the goal is to have conference participants leave with the idea that “there is always something they can learn about themselves that they want to better.

“The workshops will teach, the keynote will inspire and the fellowship will empower,” said Woods-Stephens, 40. “Whole Women Win.”

At the Oakland event, key speakers include founder of the Nikki Thomas Network and KBLX on-air personality, Nikki Thomas; Oakland Councilwoman and Vice Mayor Desley Brooks; and StraightMaleFriend.com co-creator and shades Magazine writer, Marcus Osborne.
