Sip, Stomp & Play - an urban harvest benefit

Celebrate the harvest and help to protect opportunities for play and physical activity for East Bay students by joining Playworks and Urban Legend Cellars for Sip, Stomp & Play 2011, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Urban Legend Cellars, 621 Fourth St. in Oakland.

This family-friendly event supports the efforts of both organizations to preserve safe, healthy and inclusive play and physical activity for children attending under-resourced elementary schools in the East Bay.

The festival will include fun activities for all ages will include:

Grape Stomping

The juice collected will be used to make actual wine! All ages welcome, passes are limited. Participants are encouraged to wear white or Trash The Dress!

Playground Games and Sports Stations


Remember those classic playground games like four-square? Get ready to play!

Silent Auction


Exclusive dinners, sports memorabilia and local excursions all up for grabs.
