As Bay area climate change activists and policy wonks arrive in Copenhagen, we get more news back--and  as well as news from the word attendees via the web. Here's some of what's going on at the conference right now, via our neighbors (and others)

Green for All: The EPA recognizes that greenhouse gas emissions are indeed dangerous to human health and will  regulate carbon pollution under the Clean Air Act. GFA writes: "With new power to regulate six greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide, the EPA can now help cut U.S. emissions without waiting for Congress to pass a cap-and-trade bill."

Mobilization for Climate Justice's most recent post is on the  African delgation that  protested against a leaked document that would disadvantage developing countries and demand binding targets from those countries that are similar to the developed world despite different circumstances, putting the African nations at great disadvantage.

The Powershift blog
is tracking American youth activism at the conference, including an action that crashed a poorly-attended speech by a climate denier who called them Hitler youth

ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability USA: a membership association of more than 600 local govs committed to climate, sustainability, and energy actions is in Copenhagen and says they will be actively posting updates.

SF Bayview
covers the African issue via reposting an entry from South African attendee Adam Welz on the African protests.

Pictures are powerful. A great way to follow along with what's happening is via the flickr photo tags, as in this gallery below.
