Would you like to help out during the holidays and make sure more people in need have food on the table?

One of the most direct ways to do that is to support the Alameda County Food Bank, which serves over 275 partner organizations--and many more Oaklanders. We've set a goal of $500--if we can raise more, we will--and here's how you can contribute:

a) Donate directly (you need a credit card to use online). Use this link to be part of the OL group: https://www.vfd-accfb.org/selectgroup.aspx?ID=167

DONATE HERE FOR OUR VIRTUAL FOOD DRIVE

b) Come to Oakland Local's Dec 16th Holiday Dive Bar Drinkup and bring $5 or more to contribute--we'll collect and then donate what we gather that night.

Deets for the meetup:
6-8 PM, Kingfish Pub & Cafe, 5227 Claremont Ave, between Clarke St & Vicente Way, Oakland, CA 94618
(You can RSVP at meetup.com or on Facebook)
