"Hard In The Paint" was recorded by Oakland recording artist, poet and organizer Ise Lyfe. This video was filmed to raise awareness around the murder of Oscar Grant and was shot on the actual BART system using cell phone camera, flip cameras, and hand held devices-the same forms of media to document the Oscar Grant killing.
