$5 Double-Feature with Free Popcorn Today: The Grand Lake Theatre Helps out on Strike Day

Allen Michaan, owner of the Grand Lake Theatre in Oakland and long-time Oakland community activist has made some last-minute arrangements for OUSD families to attend a double-feature at the Grand Lake movie theatre.

The theatre would not normally operate in the during this time, but Allen made the offer for Oakland families who are in need during the strike day.

Please PASS THIS ON to other OUSD families, especially those who may not have access to these list-serves, and make arrangements to go to the theatre on Thursday.

In theater #1:

In theater #2 (upstairs):

OCEANS (G rated Disney feature – not animated)

shown at 12:00 and 2:15

 

All tickets for these shows will be only $5.00

3D glasses are included in this price for "Dragon"

Free popcorn will be provided as well.
