What To Do with Abandoned Futon Frames?!?

Abandoned Futon Frames #1: Art frames

Abandoned Futon Frames #1: Art frames

What I do is try to come up with new inventions using discarded things... One of the biggest landfill offenders I've seen would be Futon Frames. It does come apart, or it simply gets 'old.'  I rescue these. So far, here are the three things we can do with solid wood planks from Futons...

1) Frames for your paintings or photography.

2) Shallow shelving for your home or office or shop.

3) 1/4" trim for your furniture or your home. Solid wood, straight-edge trim is difficult to find...

4) I'm sure I'll think of something new soon...

Cheers!
