The Mission of the KPFA Apprenticeship Program is to provide comprehensive broadcast, technical, and administrative skills training as a means to build community and empower our participants to tell their own stories.

...The Apprenticeship Program is currently 18-months. Everyone is required to spend ONE business day each week working at KPFA and TWO night classes. The Apprentices are responsible for producing FULL CIRCLE, which airs Fridays from 7-8PM. Apprentices showcase interviews with community groups, personal stories, live bands and performances.

TO APPLY:
The program is intensive and demanding, the projected time commitment averages 20 hours a week. All those selected must agree to serve theri respective communities and Pacifica, in exchange for skills development and access to resources...
