Come to a League of Women Voters workshop on Saturday, August 28

 The League of Women Voters of Oakland urges you to participate in the Bay Area Regional Workshop this coming Saturday, August 28. Join other League members and the public to learn more about what the League does and how it does it.

Topics for the day include:

    * Advocacy -- When, Where and How does the League do it?
    * Redistricting -- Tracking and mapping
    * LWV Websites -- Where to find the tools you need
    * Political YES, Partisan NO -- Walking the Fine Line

The workshop will be held at the SAN LEANDRO LIBRARY, 300 Estudillo Avenue, in the Dave Karp Room from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration and lunch is $30, or you can bring your own lunch and pay a registration of $15.
