The Bay Area music community suffered a huge loss in January when 24 year old Dewey Tucker was killed driving along Highway 80. Tucker, a well known and respected bass player known for his both his musical skills and his easygoing ways, was on his way to Oakland for band practice.

Tucker was the bass player for area musicians including The Kev Choice Ensemble and The Coup and had toured internationally with Lauren Hill.

Reporter JR Valrey, along with New American Media and Youth Outlook magazine, created this memorial video of Tucker, featuring several close friends, band mates and the people who knew him best.
