Fertile Ground:An EcoSpiritual Journey with the Ancestors

EcoSoul, a healing arts organization located in Oakland, is holding its first 4 week Ecotherapy workshop beginning October 3, 2010.
During the 4 week course you will learn to develop a spiritual practice to connect with your blood ancestors and spirits of place utilizing a framework grounded in the African/Afro-Cuban Orisha Spiritual traditions that is accessible and available to everyone.
Some topics include:
Beginning the Journey:Gathering what is Remembered, Elevating the Ancestors, Ancestors and Orisha as Spirits of Place
Water and the Ancestors, Feeding the Creative Fire of the Ancestors, and Revelation through Ancestors.
Location: Classes will take place at the East Bay Healing Collective 1840 Alcatraz Ave Berkeley, CA beginning October 3, 2010 and on land around the Bay Area where we will create ceremony to connect with ancestors and the spirits of place.
