City Attorney John Russo and Oakland Police Chief Anthony Batts send out a note announcing today that they will hold a press conference at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 13 in City Hall to announce plans for the city’s next gang injunction.

Oakland’s previous injunction – against 15 members of the North Side Oakland gang – was granted by a Superior Court judge in June. Oakland is filing an injunction Wednesday against one of the most violent criminal gangs in the city – one that has terrorized entire neighborhoods for years with acts of violence including murders, attempted murders, shootings, assaults and robberies.

Anyone want to take a guess who the *gang* is?  The City is staying close-lipped until tomorrow.
