The Local Clean Energy Alliance and Take Back the Mic Bay Area seek your
video submissions to help California stay the course on creating clean
energy jobs and reduce our contribution to climate change by making sure
that Prop 23 does not pass. The Alliance is a member of the Communities
United Against the Dirty Energy Prop coalition.
The Alliance is calling for videos that support the No on Prop 23 position.
The video could, for example, expose the interests behind the proposition
(i.e.,Texas Oil companies) or it could highlight the effects it will have on
the our economy, air, and health if the bill succeeds. Alternatively, it
could focus on a vision of the good things we get when we say No to Prop 23.
See http://communitiesagainstprop23.com/about/ for more information on the
Dirty Energy proposition.
A $200 cash prize goes to the winner as well as formal recognition on the
Alliance's site. The videos will be showcased at our Open House and
Fundraising event on October 21, 2010. Videos will be judged by the crowd
response so humor and/or emotion are key. The video will also be displayed
on the Alliance and allied websites, and will be shown at other events this
campaign season.
