More than 150 people showed up at the Kaiser Rooftop last night to mix, mingle and share their conviction that Oakland has the power to grow as a center of Tech and business innovation.  Sponsored by InOak, a new organization of local tech companies (including Oakland Local, a founding member), the InOak party was an early-fall event that had even Mayor Dellums out and about. As DJs spun, Oaklanders chatted, hung out and did business, taking a break to hear from Dellums and the event organizers (see earlier OL article for more info).

OL's contributing photography editor Paula Wirth was on hand to take some snaps; you can see how FUN this party was when you go through her slide shows--and don't miss the photos of Pandora's CEO Tim Westergren accepting an award recognizing his company’s contribution to local job creation and the company’s impact on Oakland’s image.Cool, huh? (Come out next time.)
