Join Bay Localize at the Feb 10-11 Energy conference in Oakland
On Feb 10-11th, the Local Clean Energy Alliance is bringing together people and and organizations advocating for clean energy in the Bay Area for Clean Power, Healthy Communities: A Regional Conference of the Local Clean Energy Alliance.
The conference will be held at the California Endowment, 1111 Broadway, 7th Floor, Oakland, CA
Despite groundbreaking California legislation to address global warming, greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise in the state and in the San Francisco Bay Area.
As a result, grassroots community activists throughout the Bay Area are advocating for local solutions to rising greenhouse gas emissions, with a focus on healthier sustainable communities and green jobs development.
The purpose of the conference is to report on the status of clean energy programs in the Bay Area, share best practices, bring together clean energy advocates, and explore the potential for more regional collaboration and coordination.
