Reading Oakland Local but not sure how to post blog entries, calendar items, or comments? Want to make your voice heard, but taking that first step seems hard?
Oakland Local is offering a free training to our community members on Wednesday evening, February 3rd in downtown Oakland. Come join the Oakland Local team and improve your ability to communicate on the Web--and on Oakland Local.
Admission is free, but we ask that you a) join our Facebook group to receive an invite b) RSVP by Tuesday, Feb. 2nd.
If you have a laptop, please bring it to this hands-on session. We're assuming everyone who attends knows how to use a computer, connect to the internet, and do basic things like send email.
Schedule:
6 PM Come and socialize! Light snacks provided.
6:30: Hands-on workshop
7:30 Q&A and individual consultations
8PM: We wind down, going for drinks or hanging out an option.
