Ball In - Basketball Is... Madness - Redemption by Redemption

For those doing CBS’s Round-by-Round (http://freeroundbyround.1.mayhem.cbssports.com/opcr), your time is running out to choose Florida over Bulter and UConn over Arizona, just like I did. Although I’m not certain why you would, since I only picked 3 of the Elite Eight, and only have 2 of my Final Four left. My Big Ten bias failed me, um, big time, as my Final 2 – Ohio State and Michigan State (yes, Michigan State) – have fallen by the wayside.

Well, today’s another day and another chance at bracket redemption.

The least interesting of the games left for me is Florida against Butler, the Dook of the Midwest (The Baylor of the North??). Since Florida meets all of my fan criteria and Butler meets none of it, I’m going with the Gators.

Considering how Arizona dismantled Dook, there’s no reason not to jump on their bandwagon and . I have long been a UConn fan (and have even longer held a bit of a grudge against Arizona for stealing Lute Olson from Iowa…), and I’m not gonna bail out on them now. (Like I shamelessly - and shamefully - did on North Carolina, picking them to lose to the Buckeyes…) They are not only one of my surviving Final Four picks, but they have Kemba Walker, the Ball In National Player of the Year. He’s Ray Allen, Ben Gordon, Richard Hamilton and Khalid El-Amin all in one. He got game, and he’s gonna shock the world…
