Are you a bike rider?

If you're a regular Oakland Local reader, chances are you either ride your bike a lot or think you should (Amy Gahran and Kwan Booth fall into the first category; I cop to the second). But whether you're on two wheels or not, it is impossible to miss the joyful bike renaissance happening all over Oakland.

WOBO, EBCC, Bike Red Black Green, Cycle of Change, Bikes for Life, Scraper Bikers - we have so many cool cycling groups and people riding.

So, in the spirit of Bike to Work Day, Oakland Local encourages you to check out our super extensive coverage of biking in Oakland at oaklandlocal.com/tags/biking  or oaklandlocal.com/tags/bicycles.

If you dig deep enough, we've got it all - and if we don't, tell us what we missed - and what else you'd like to see as we roll into the rest of 2011 (okay, sorry, bad pun.)

And enjoy these photos from local biker Jon Suzuki, who's right there with so many bike events around the Town.

If you have bike photos you like that you'd like to run on OL (you retain all rights), send them to photos@oaklandlocal.com.
