Our Oakland: Eastside Stories announces winners in the “My East Oakland Photo Contest” that the public art project hosted earlier in the summer. Open to all ages, the contest invited community members to submit a photograph and statement expressing what East Oakland means to them personally.

A bustling number of families and youth attended the 3rd Annual Sobrante Park Time Bank Health Fair in the parking lots of the Community Reform Church and Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy to learn about health and wellbeing through a number of health and community vendors last Saturday, April 16, in East Oakland.
