Media outlet Good News in Oakland is hosting its first anniversary fundraiser party and 100th episode at 6 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Z Cafe, 2735 Broadway. The host of the event will be the C.E.O. and founder of Good News in Oakland Sean Kennedy.

I have noticed that I see less sneakers worn by men in the Bay Area. Of course, there is the occasional pair of Jordans, but not like a few years ago. So I've come to the conclusion that this winter season is all about shoes for men: Desert Clark boot,TimberlandsVansTomsSperry Topsiders and Generic Surplus. The classic sneaker (Nike) is falling into the same category as the "Hyphy movement" that the Bay once loved.

When, I saw her ensemble. I knew I had to take a picture. Her multi-colored tank paired with a skinny pant was a great idea. Her orange tie up sandals were perfect for the grass at Mosswood Park.
