8:30pm - Panel of Local Experts, Phat Beet Produce and Mandela Food Coop. Hear how the food system is working in Oakland.
Suggested donation, $5-$10, Proceeds will go to subsidize CSA food boxes for low income families in Oakland.
Family-friendly viewing room will also be available for parents with young children.
Enjoy food from Oakland vendors like Taco Grill, proudly serving organic vegetables and Niman Ranch Beef everyday in Fruitvale. (please bring cash for food)
Meet urban farmers from non-profits like Phat Beet Produce and Funk Town Farm, or independent grocers like Mandela Food Co-op.

Sign up for a CSA that delivers fresh food in your neighborhood like Eatwell Farm featured on the History Channel, Shooting Star located only 40 miles from Berkeley, or Tomatero Farm’s new Heirloom Tomato CSA!
Meet the Artists:
Oakland artists will respond to the movie FRESH and the local food system through an art exhibit hosted at the venue. A commemorative poster by one of the local artists will be available for purchase. (cash only)
