Join Oakland Food Connection, students and other volunteers at Oakland Unity High School and help build a new garden bed and amend the soil to prepare for spring planting.

Oakland Food Connection has worked with Oakland Unity High School since 2005, teaching them how to access more nutritious foods through gardening.

Oakland Food Connection promotes nutritional awareness, access to healthy foods, and the connections between people and our planet. They're a not-for-profit organization focused on Oakland's heritage of food, community, and culture.
