There have been numerous reports of property crime, both actual and attempted, on Temescal Families site this past month. Plan on attending the NCPC meeting this coming Thursday at 7:00PM at the Presbyterian Church at 49th and Webster to voice your concerns to our community police officers. Help us establish the crime issues you want our Problem Solving Officer to focus on for the upcoming month.

Additionally, we will hand out copies of the OPD's new strategic plan. It is Chief Batt's plan to have Oakland one of the safest large cities in California by 2015. Come get a copy of his strategies on how he intends to make this happen.

We also will have a guest speaker, Sandra Decker, from the Center for Elders Independence.
