Matt Werner book reading at Oakland Main Library

Matt Werner reads from his new book Oakland in Popular Memory about artists putting a new "there" in Oakland. Artists interviewed in the book include Ise Lyfe, Chinaka Hodge, and several young Oakland artists, musicians, and writers. Additionally, Matt will talk about how he printed and hand-bound the books locally. The reading at the Oakland Main Library is followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
