New Year’s Eve Celebration at Desco

On New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31, Desco in Old Oakland will be open for dinner serving, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, their regular a la carte menu plus a $54.00 four-course prix fixe and then, from 6:30 to 11:00 PM, just the prix fix will be offered. It will consist of Roasted White Veal thinly sliced with “salsa tonnata” and crispy organic celery flakes; Coho Salmon, with shrimp and pearl Umbrian farro, and red lentils vellutata; Taleggio Cheese, Red Kuri And Butternut Squash Ravioli tossed in porcini mushrooms brunoise with almonds fillet; certified Piedmontese Beef, slowly braised, with roots vegetables in a Barolo reduction or Monkfish Fillet with shrimp and clams broth, and Sardinian fregola; and Merengue and Dark Chocolate Mousse with winter fruit salad, tossed in orange liquor. The restaurant’s regular lunch menu will be available earlier in the day. All prices exclude tax and gratuity.
