The Apollo Alliance is now accepting applications for the Spring 2010 internship position. The Alliance is seeking a smart, organized, energetic person with strong research and writing skills to assist with the program and policy department. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a talented student or professional committed to clean energy and social equity issues to gain experience working in a high caliber, fast paced, results-oriented non-profit policy organization.

The Program Intern will work closely with the Program and Research Associates to provide support for the advancement of Apollo's national, state, and local program priorities. This will primarily consist of background research and writing on clean energy and economic development policies and programs, meeting coordination and administrative support.

This position will be unpaid, part-time (24 hours/week), and temporary beginning in early-mid January and ending in early-mid April of 2010. We strongly prefer applicants that can commit to a regular and consistent schedule during the entire internship period. We are willing to work with academic institutions for credit eligibility considerations and are well connected to a network of like-minded non-profits around the country. The internship will be based at our national office in San Francisco.
