One of the things that's come up repeatedly from our readers is the need for more in depth coverage of Oakland's education system.  It appears that folks aren't completely satisfied with the way education is covered in other publications, so we'd like to know more.

What do you want to know about education in Oakland? What are you tired of hearing about? Are there any people, places, ideas that should be getting more attention?

And don't just think elementary through high school, we want the full range. We want to know you ideas around higher education (universities, junior colleges etc), alternative education, school board news, charter schools, the drop out rate, the whole gamut.
