Erase Errata

Erase Errata

From the OL Editorial Team:

The Advanced Music Program - AMP - is a new program for advanced teens brought to you by Bay Area Girls Rock Camp and this Sunday, Dec. 11, girls from the program will be showcasing some of their work.

Four AMP bands will each perform a set of original songs. Followed by two of our favs: the inspiring and influential all-female Bay Area bands, ERase Errata and Grass Widow.

Seriously. Totally. Amazing.

AMP is an incredible and unique space for advanced musicians to take their music to the next level. Since September, students have been writing songs with their bands, recording, making band merchandise, building radio transmitters, making stop-motion animation videos, learning about women of color in punk, and having in-depth conversations about healthy relationships.

AMP serves the youth of Oakland and the Bay Area at large, with no one ever turned away for lack of funds.

924 Gilman is an all ages, not for profit, collectively run, music/performance club and community space. Proceeds from the "concert" will support Bay Area Girls Rock Camp and its mission of empowering girls through music education, creation and performance.
