End-of-year Parties: Where to get your holiday on in Oakland

What a lot of parties and events are happening in Oakland right now!

Last Wednesday was Oakland Local's holiday party, which had over 85 people come through, then Friday was the opening party for Popup Hood, the reading of Drew Dellnger's poetry "A Love Letter to the Milky Way," and the Box Theater reunion, which brought out Kev Choice, Ise Lyfey, Refa 1, Needa Bee, and all sorts of poets at The Kaiser Center. When I left that party at midnight, the folks nearby were talking about going on to more fun at Brothers & Sisters or getting Chicken and Waffles.
