Oakland police warning about high incidence of armed robbery

Oakland police are sending out warnings about a high incidence of armed robbery in Oakland. 

According to the police alert, there have been numerous incidents in both East and West Oakland, including these locations:

  • 1400 block of Peralta
  • 1500 block of E 17th Street
  • 300 block of Eighth Street
  • 1200 block of Adeline
  • 2200 block of 21st Street
  • 300 block of International
  • 1900 block of E 28th Street
  • 150 block of Pearl Street
  • 1800 block of E 23rd Street
  • 3100 block of Beaumont Ave.


What do police advise?  Be alert and if you are robbed, do not resist because "suspects are commonly armed with guns."
