The AC Transit Board of Directors will hold a public hearing this Wednesday, April 11, to consider a proposal that would nearly double the amount of service across the Dumbarton Bridge. The hearing will be at 5 p.m. in the Board of Directors Chambers at AC Transit’s General Offices, 1600 Franklin St. in Oakland.

In April 2010, the Oakland City Council - along with the cities of Berkeley and San Leandro - voted to study a specific route for a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system along International and Telegraph. 

The vote was unanimous. So where’s our bus?
