Kiwi jam.  Never heard of it?  It’s not surprising.  Most people haven’t.  I came upon my first jar at a farmer’s market about 15 years ago and have never forgotten it.  That was “way back when”…long before I ever considered making my own jam.  These days, it remains one of my favorites.  Oh, there’s peach, there’s plum and the ever-popular strawberry.  T

The big question about ForageSF's first East Bay Underground Market was would people come to an Oakland pop-up market that was only open for a few hours and featured home cooks and unlicensed vendors in addition to the pros?

Based on the lines down the block - a hallmark of past San Francisco markets - the answer is yes.

CrimeView CyberWatch allows people to sign up for e-mails when a range of crimes take place near a certain address.
