Eastside Arts Alliance presented the 12th Annual Malcolm X JazzArts Festival on  Saturday, May 19, 2012 in San Antonio Park, Oakland, CA. This annual event has become a community institution and thousands of Oaklanders turned out to bask in the sun, stroll, see friends and enjoy the music.

Support your local artists and communities--as well as Eastside Arts Alliance and their 11th year anniversary "Malcolm X Jazz Arts Festival!"  on May 21 from 11 am to 7 pm in San Antonio Park--this event is free, family friendly. and fabulous.

There was a  dance party, a BBQ, a live DJ, a whole lotta dance workshops, live art by Estria, a panel discussion and both a showing of the new B-Girl documentary, "All The Ladies Say" and an appearance by two of the stars - Lady Champ and Aiko Shirakawa.
