According to the latest "Oakland e-Port," the Oakland Public Library is now offering downloads of audiobooks and eBooks.

Since Aug. 25, user have been able to browse the library’s website, check out with a valid library card and download to PC, Mac and many mobile device eBooks and audio books.

To play the books, users need to install free software.
