If you're reading this post, you probably already know Oakland Local is a new news & community site dedicated to getting the word out about local issues and making people's voices heard who might not otherwise be noted by the mainstream through both publishing and sharing skills.

For summer 2010, we’re looking for interns who can play a big role in our multimedia coverage.

This role is right for someone who can shoot and edit simple video, take pictures and do simple graphics and seeks a place to get a chance to sharpen their skills in the real world. Role can also include writing, and will include some site management.
