Oakland City Councilmember Nancy Nadel will host a community Town Hall meeting on Nov. 20  to discuss redevelopment plans for the former Oakland Army Base, which was shuttered more than a decade ago.

As part of development of the base, Oakland will negotiate a community benefits package with the developer. Nadel said she wants to hear from the community about what would be the best way to develop the site.
