Bay Area youth are invited to a youth-led day of community building using art and theater to seek solutions for violence and the criminalization of young people. 

Join Heal the Streets for this interactive workshop with the goal of building solutions within the hands of the community.

Heal the Streets trains Oakland youth to become community leaders and peace advocates.

Back in April we first reported on the budget crisis in Oakland's General Fund. This Thursday, June 24, the Council will need to decide what measures will be put up to a vote at the November ballot in an attempt to close the $32 million budget gap.
