So how do you get involved in Mayor Jean Quan's well-publicized effort to recruit 2,000 mentors to help out in Oakland?  After we ran a story on last Friday's rally, we realized that the ways to sign up and get involved weren't obvious--at least, not if you'd missed the event.  So, we went off and inquired, and here's what we learned:<
