Implemented in 2005, the "Options" process allows families to participate in selecting schools in the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) that they think will best suit their children's needs. The time allowed for selection and registration--otherwise known as Options Period--is almost upon us. Enrollment for the 2010 - 2011 School Year runs from December 7, 2009 to January 15, 2010.
