Circus Bella invites business to get involved with its 2010 Circus in the Parks free performance series this summer by listing their name and services in the 2010 Oakland Program.  The programs will be distributed at all three performances which include DeFremery Park on July 10, Studio One Art Center on July 16, and Dimond Park on July 18th.

This Thursday, May 6, the clowns from Circus Bella will be hitting the streets in the Dimond District to promote litter awareness for a cleaner Oakland.  The clown-street-action is part of Dimond Neighborhood's Zero Litter Week, May 3 - 8th.  Clowns Tristan Cunningham, Keith Elijah Fasciani, and David Melendy will be performing routines and playfully engaging pedestrians to bring awar

Prescott Circus Theatre will be presenting HIGHER GROUND, a stilt dance performance featuring over 50 youth stilt dancers, each coached in the spirit, history, and techniques of African Stilt Dancing by Zulu Connections.  http://www.zuluconnection.com/home.htm

The Prescott Circus Theatre is an exciting and innovative after school program for Oakland youth.
Students receive free training and performing opportunities.  The program was founded in 1984 by
Prescott teacher Aileen Moffitt.  The goals of PCT are to provide a culturally conscious educational program promoting
leadership, performing arts education, skill training, academic progress, and life experience opportunities for youngsters in
a context that allows them to fully explore their talents and enriches self-esteem
The program also serves the community by providing professional-level entertainment by children of color for
audiences of all ages while representing Oakland youth in a proud and positive manner.
