The AC Transit Board of Directors will hold a public hearing this Wednesday, April 11, to consider a proposal that would nearly double the amount of service across the Dumbarton Bridge. The hearing will be at 5 p.m. in the Board of Directors Chambers at AC Transit’s General Offices, 1600 Franklin St. in Oakland.

May 13 dawned cool and overcast. But the sun shone from the smiles of the enthusiastic greeters at energizer stations set up for the Bay Area’s 16th annual Bike to Work Day. Cyclists received cheers, goodie bags and snacks to encourage them on their ride.
