Oakland, CA – the world is watching us.

Don’t believe me? In the last 30 days, the Oakland Local site alone saw more than 3,000 visits from 141 countries. The UK, Canada, India, the Philippines and Australia “hit” us the hardest. I suppose it would be more accurate to say that as a world community, we are watching each other.

A group of Bay Area graffiti artists including Desi of W.O.M.E., Arrow-Soul Council (Epiz, 912, Base 10, Hopes 4, Selk), Mr. E, Melissa and Abicus have been collaborating to create a large scale mural protesting police brutality on the side of a local business on 16th Ave and East 12th Street in Oakland.
