For some, there is too much holiday music pumped through speakers in the last couple months of the year — waiting in line at the grocery store or in ads on TV — but no matter your opinions about the onslaught of jingles, there’s something especially lovely about a live holiday concert. This winter, Oakland has a selection that includes choirs, soul, punk and the classic Bay Area rock concert, Not So Silent Night, produced by Live 105. Whether you want classic songs or just nights with holiday lights and eggnog drink specials, there’s something out there.
